About a particular winter walk on the River Lea, the sky was orange and glowed over everything.
This piece was hand-built in a fine stoneware clay and hand-painted using slips and underglaze. I use wax resist and the inlay technique to add fine draw lines before the piece is fired and finished with gloss glaze details.
