Matt Dosa

Built up with layers of spray pain, ink and acrylic, Matt Dosa's abstract works borrow from the graffiti scene where he made his name and learned his craft (he has no formal art education).

Produced from his studio in Tottenham, Matt's bright landscapes of pattern and form could be seen as playful echoes of the vibrant city where he was born, and which has been his home for most of his life.

In recent years, Matt's signature geometric style has found home in outdoor projects and murals, as well as on canvas and the walls of art galleries. His two-storey mural in New Brighton, a nod to British seaside idylls, was a highlight of the city's ongoing regeneration, while his "platinum discs" piece appears in the reception of Decca Records.
